I just bought,(on a whim), my 4th Gold Star, and I'm having trouble identifying it. Here's what I know, FE inlays and FLYING EAGLE on the 21st fret block, 40 hole archtop ring, no serial number or sign of a label ever being on it. 2 piece flange. I'm guessing an 82' 11FE or possibly an earlier. How late were they labeling the blocks? My 78' 12 H&F archy was labeled, but I haven't seen any others with the (mastertone) block labeled. Any help appreciated. Thanks, PH
