I recently purchased a 1930 10 15/16 Vegaphone 5 string conversion. I'd like to get a flush fit spin on resonator with dowel stick hardware.

Can't figure out why this is so hard to find? If so many of these where originally tenors with resonators and were converted to 5 strings, what happened to all the resonators?

If anyone has any leads I'd sure appreciate the help.

	BrittDLD1 says: 8/8/2013 1:08:17 PM Because the spin-on resonators were all made before 1922. And even then, MOST of the Fairbanks-style Vegas from 1904 to 1922 were sold as open-backs. Vega came out with their large-resonator banjos after 1923 -- which made the older spin-on ones obsolete, to the NEW 4-string market. So the spin-ons were dropped.
