to the group: I have a 1928 Vega Little Wonder, it came with a no knot tail piece, I just started playing, it seems ok to me. Does anyone know what style tail piece originally came on this banjo. thanks

	mainejohn says: 11/16/2011 12:34:23 PM According to my Vega catalog reprint, the Little Wonder, as was the case with most of their models pictured in the catalog, came with the No Knot.

	mainejohn says: 11/17/2011 4:25:20 PM No prices in the catalog reprint, but my 1923 Vega Regent 5 string, similar to the Wonder, sold to the original owner for around $60.

	Cottonmouth says: 12/20/2011 8:44:11 AM A friend has a Vega Catalog for sale on eBay and I went to read it yesterday. There was no date on it, but it must have been before 1927, as it showed the Style K 4-string banjo as a mandolin banjo. Later the 13" scale 4-string was called "Melody" banjo by Vega; I just purchased one, a Little Wonder (1927).
