Anyone have any information on banjo instructors in southern Utah? I have found a good teacher for Scruggs style finger picking in St George, but no one who teaches clawhammer or old time styles of play. Please help a wayward beginner out. Thanks.

No, but I think Mike Iverson is giving Skype lessons nowadays. He's a member and probably in the teachers index. Good luck.

I must have missed him when I looked through the index. I'm thinking I ight try to find some one who can work with my crazy travel schedule for once a month one hour lessons. Thanks for the tip. I'll see if I can work something out.

Scott, I live in St. George. I'm certainly not qualified to teach, but I recently joined Mike Iverson's Progressive Clawhammer site, and he suggested he'd like to come down south to teach a workshop. If we can get a group together, we might be able to convince him to come down here.
