Just got back from a great weekend at Silsden. Just like to thank all the Band's that we had the pleasure of watching. Heartstring's, The Kentucky Cow Tipper's, and last but not least. The Down County Boy's. Chris & Bruno did a nice workshop on the Sunday morning that was well attended, and much appreciated by all. Bruno is the nicest man you could wish to meet, and Chris is the best Scrugg's style player i have had the pleasure of being in the same company of. And finally i would like to appologise to any camper's we kept up till 3.00 am (but it was great :-)

	Banjowen says: 7/21/2014 2:06:20 AM Sorry I couldn't make it this year, the Silsden bash as got to be the best value for money weekend on the bluegrass scene, other festival organisers should take a leaf out of their book money wise....

	Debs says: 7/22/2014 1:19:32 PM I would have loved to have been there, but it was my birthday that weekend and I had no choice - I was whisked off for a surprise (banjo-free) break elsewhere! Glad you all had a good time!!
	RB-1 says: 7/23/2014 1:56:57 PM Elly and I are still recovering from the over dosis of friendship and all those nice comments... My mail host doesn't allow me to send other than from my home, so I haven't had the chance to answer any mails as yet. Next week... Yes it was memorable! No matter how well we've been received when playing in the UK (must have been since 1992), this was the very first time when, for instance, Elly explained that we learned such and such song from this and that album, an immediate reaction came as in 'Yeah that's good stuff'. Before people sometimes almost brought the house down, but they didn't have a clue what we were doing. Not this time on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It felt as if all knew were it all came from. Y'all made us two extremely happy (non)campers! No worries Eddy, we slept in the B&B house on the back side of the pub.... Special thanks to alanjg and gradelyduck who turned up at our gig on the Monday, I wished I had more quality time with you guys. Next time.... Thanks again to all those players that let me try their instruments, so they could hear it from the other side. And thanks for playing my RB-1 and liking it... Lastly, very special thanks to Chris who decided to co host the workshop at first request. We made it up as we went, just as if we'd been working together for years. He's a class act, UK players be proud to have someone that knowledgeable and sharing amongst you. At times it felt as he could read my mind, for we could complement each other with the greatest of ease. Chris, thumbs up! Hope to see you again soon.
