Fretboard Roadmaps: 5-String Banjo Sheet Music

Would it be any good for a clawhammerologist?

It's a well laid out book and you certainly get stuff from it . But it's main focus is to get to know the neck in open G tuning and to make a player aware of the various styles of banjo . There's a bit on melodic, scruggs , clawhammer and even some plectrum. A nice book if you want to get to grips with intervals and basic harmony on the banjo in Open G tuning. I'm not knocking it at all. But if you want a book to help you get your clawhammer playing together and get that sound and some traditional tunes .... You might be better with something like Clawhammer banjo from Scratch by Dan Levenson . All the best,Malc
