hi everyone, i want to record myself, using guitar and vocals, so as to practice my banjo backup etc, not having much luck through my computer, any ideas?

	daveteague says: 8/25/2013 7:42:50 AM Ron. Here's a link to an excellent, FREE, recording programme. It's called Audacity. It's a studio. not just a recorder. You can overdub tracks, so you can record voice and guitar, then playback and re-record whilst playing your banjo. Then you've got separate tracks for both. audacity.sourceforge.net/ To convert to MP3, it uses another programme and is not allowed to put it within the programme. Just follwo the instructions to tell it where it is and it will then remember. It's a good tool to see how you are improving. Just record yourself every couple of days and you will see the difference practice makes. And yes, I'm off to Didders. See you there
