While watching a video at DeeringBanjo.com, I observed Jens Kruger playing an A over the tension hoop. This is on his model. When I compared to my TT, the tension hoop is below the fret board a good 3/16". A radiused fret board would never be flush except for the edge of the chord. I am thinking a lower crown head would help. Thoughts?
