I'm a believer!  The Tenn 20 with a Wyatt Euro Beech rim is a marriage made in Heaven!!  It will be fun to hear the tone change as things settle in.  I'm using a Purcell piano bridge. Right now and it seems the ring and rim love it.  AMB head with a Fults 1934 Parallel TP.  I think I will change the Head to a Black Head as I have had before. Really highlights the chrome. Any way. I'm a happy BEECHER!Hank

You know-just in a couple of days the 4th string came to life with a real growl! This is fun to hear the new changes as time rolls on!
I bet, if youlookk back to your 1st install and playing compared to now there probably be a huge difference. In studying the threads on wood on the BHO it is interesting to hear about the science of wood working based on wood types and rings in the wood. Each has it's characteristics manifested in a type of tone and vibration it renders--You have to be a scientist to match all this up and create products based on the personality of the wood. ---That's sounds like REAL fun--to understand all that and produce a product that affects sound thru vibrations!!!

I'm proud to be a "Beecher"! Randall turned a beech rim for my 78 Ibanez Artist (lawsuit era) banjo. I've had the rim in the banjo for about three days now. There was about a 24 hr. adjusting and re-adjusting period while things settled in. I expected that by virtue of the difference in humidity. The banjo made it's debut at lessons Tues . My students were impressed and remarked on the warmth of the instrument. I took it to band rehearsal last night where again it was met with wonder and awe! At the end of the night my friend handed me his Stelling Staghorn and said "Here, order me one, too!" Tonight it makes it's debut at the local jam, and I'm really excited to play it and have it played by others...It's really an exceptional intrument now! Thanks again Randall!
