I was wondering about how important the thickness of the rim is in a tack head..?
And about the Tacks in the edge of the rim vs the face....
I have never built a neck before because I get Saga necks for 37.50 and I just could not build it's equal for anything near that amount...
Steve, I tried to build a segmented layer but I did something wrong....Something was wrong somewhere because when I glued them it didn't make a true circle...I wasted a stick 11/2 x 2 cherry....The next time I try I will use pine for the test....
