Hi can can anyone share thier Sullivan with Factory Floor Rim set-up? Thanks

Rgey tightened the heada little I changed the factory floor 5/8 bridge to a Sullivan Roasted 11/16th and after 5 months twicked the head and it sounds great. By factory floor do you mean factory set up? It is my understanding that only The bridge is from factory floor wood on the greenbriar., unless the special order. The V-35s have a factory floor rim.

	banjoman56 says: 10/2/2014 11:57:23 AM I currently have the head tension at 90 on the drum dial on my V-35. I kept it at 89 for a while and it was pretty good there, but it did have some overtones as Janice stated. It had great 4th string growl at 89, and though it lost just a tiny bit when I took it up to 90, it still has plenty and it's clear as a bell with great note separation. I tried several different bridges on it, but I went back to the Sullivan Roasted Maple. I'm not sure what the weight of their bridges is. Anything past 90 on the drum dial seemed to start choking the tone a little.
	jswkingsfield says: 1/21/2015 8:18:15 AM Just some follow-up notes now that Chris Cioffi has set up my parts banjo with V-35 pot: (1) AMB head instead of standard Remo -- Huber head also recommended, I just happened to have a bunch of AMB heads and sent one to Chris; (2) tension at 90/G#; (3) original tailpiece deemed too light for this particular banjo, Fults 1934, but Presto vs. Fults depends on the individual banjo; (4) tone ring was too tight and sat too high, Chris adjusted the rim fit and respositioned the flange. I'm not sure what bridge is on now, only that it is thinner than the custom Prowler I used earlier (I "overshot" what was needed bridge-wise, to tamp down the overtones).
