I went to see my friends Davis & Grant play at the Port Hope Bandshell last night. Bob Davis thanked the crowd for staying so late by saying, "You guys stuck around like a hair on a biscuit."
My buddy Zeke used to say, when we were acting awkward on stage (couldn't decide on the next tune, forgot who we learned it from, mispronounced a name, we did 'em all.) "Let us know if we start gettin' too slick and professional for you, Folks."
