I cover the Diamond Eagle I built in my BHO bio. I have some pictures at http://www.banjohangout.org/myhangout/photos.asp?id=5763&albumid=1384
I would never have been able to get a good banjo if it hadn't of been for the Stewart MacDonald Diamond Eagle kit. N\Mine was an early one with the beech rim and heel adjustale truss rod. It had aluminum coordinator rods. I have replaced those with Mastertone style rods from FQMS. I didn't really care for the short Waverly tailpeice and thought it made the notes kind of wash together. A Kerschner, Presto or Price seems to suit it better.
