i get so dishearten to hear how everyone is progressing and i have been trying to play for 8 months on the 23rd of oct ,

could some one enlighten, why i seem to do better when I don't play every nite,

	JAFO says: 5/12/2012 5:05:55 AM I have noticed similar results. I think it has to do with concentration and focus. When you push every day, it gets too routine. When you take a day off you tend to focus more when you do get time to play. So if you work on really focusing on what you are doing, it might get better. YMMV, Tom
keysoftune says: 5/12/2012 5:18:18 AM i have the same problem . my instructor says its banjo burnout. from playing to much and concentrating to long and hard .. i found it better to practice a couple hours one day then skip a day
	rbishopp says: 7/11/2012 7:41:02 AM I haven't been playing, if you can call it that, for than a few months so I am trying to get some time in each day. Yesterday I did about two hours total. Today I might get 10 minutes in. Tomorrow probably none. I take what I can get. I did notice that not practicing one tune a couple times and then going back to made a slight difference. Funny huh. I do have one tune I go to everytime just to reasure myself that I can accomplsh something. Rich...
