My wife & I attended the sold-out Carl Jones house concert in Durham, NC last night (2/19/11). Carl, who was a longtime resident of Hillsborough until he moved to Galax, VA in late 2009, performed his own works on guitar, mandolin, & banjo. Erynn Marshall accompanied him on fiddle and guitar on a couple of pieces, and Mark Weems and Julie Glaub sang along a bit. Great concert. If you ever get a chance to hear Carl perform live, don't miss it.
