Does anyone know if they are taking orders, considering the recent damage of their shop?

Winged Words says: 10/12/2016 10:31:03 PM I expect you've seen on their website that they open their list of 25 orders a year on 1 Jan. It fills up the same day. You know they also build a number of "luthier choice" instruments each year and offer them for sale, initially to people on the waiting list and then through their newsletter. Make sure you're signed up to the newsletter. You could email your enquiry to them, but they're a little busy at the moment. My banjo was lost in the fire and I know Jason is hoping to be back to banjo making before the end of the year. They're very keen to get back to normal so I expect the order list will reopen on 1 Jan 17, though the 4 year wait may be longer. Keep checking the website, get signed up to the newsletter and good luck! If I hear anything about their order list reopening I'll add a note here.
	Katyr says: 12/26/2016 7:18:03 AM The latest I've seen on Facebook and their newsletter is that the waiting list will open up as usual on Jan. 1 at 12am Pacific time. I plan to get on the list (if I can make the first 25, since I'm on Eastern time and don't plan to stay up til 3am! It will have to wait till the morning), although the wait list now appears to be 5 years. That's ok with me, I'm ordering a Pisgah banjo to play now, and in 5 years I should be ready for a change. Maybe I'll even have saved up all the money. :-)
