I've been playing a plectrum for ,maybe five years and I don't know why I didn't find this group sooner... Playing mainly blues and pre WW2 standards. Have a bunch of restored banjos: plectrum, a few tenors, and a few banjo mandolins. as well as several minstrel banjos under construction.
Also have a bunch of inexpensive repaired and restored mandolins which I buy out of interest or just curiosity, I am not really a collector.
I am legally blind so that qualifies me as a blues player. My disability keeps me at home most of the time and family responsibilities keep me from playing outside of home. but I am enthusiastic and play roughly three hours per day on plectrum and the rest of my time restoring instruments and playing my other banjos and mandos. And yes,,,, I drive my wife crazy.
