A Year Later, Looking Back on Pete Seeger's Life And Legacy, Poughkeepsie Journal
The Pete Seeger from whom I draw inspiration will always be the guy who came bounding down the gangplank on the City of Beacon's Hudson River shoreline, before boarding his beloved Clearwater sloop and sitting patiently for a video interview. Seeger talked about the history of the boat. But more importantly, he drew a comparison between the tributaries that feed the Hudson River and the manner in which all of us, with our contributions to the world great and small, can leave our own impact.
