Petition to have the Tappan Zee Bridge named the Peter Seeger bridge.

From From Greylock to Bean Blossom on 4/19/2014 10:48:13 AM

I was visiing  a great website: the Mudcat Cafe. they have tons of threads on Pete. But one that might interest many of you is this one to get the name of the Tappan Zee Bridge changed to the Pete Seeger Bridge. The bridge is close to where he lived in Bacon.I hope many on here sign it.

What's a Tappen Zee bridge? I thought this was about a 5 String Banjo Bridge. Quick turn around!

Sorry, I just saw your response. It is the name of a bridge in NY.

Hobo's Lullaby
Linked by Marc Nerenberg 9 years ago: Hobo's Lullaby is a song by "The Texas Drifter" (Goebel Reeves) who was a one-time hobo, turned country singer who specialized in songs about hobos. I first heard this song sung by Pete Seeger.
