Nothing makes me feel old like someone saying, "Jim is 75 years young."
Strangely enough, the same folks say, "Your grandson is 3 years old."
Why is he "old" and I'm "young"?

I would be complemented, Jim. To me it suggests you've chosen to remain lively and active in your later years.

Hobo's Lullaby
Linked by Marc Nerenberg 9 years ago: Hobo's Lullaby is a song by "The Texas Drifter" (Goebel Reeves) who was a one-time hobo, turned country singer who specialized in songs about hobos. I first heard this song sung by Pete Seeger.
