I am fairly familiar with much of Pete Seeger's recorded materials. I cannot think of any recording of just Pete and Woody Guthrie singing together. I know of recordings with the Almanac Singers in which they played together, along with several other members, and I believe I have heard some recordings of Pete on banjo, while Woody played the guitar and sang. But can anyone remember any recordings of just Pete and Woody, playing their instruments and singing together, alone? Thanks in advance for any such recorded sources.

	reese158 says: 2/24/2017 6:11:08 AM Yeah. Other than the Almanac Singers' stuff, I don't know if other recordings exist. You might consult David King Dunaway's "A Pete Seeger Discography." It's pretty exhaustive.
	phdm says: 5/7/2017 6:06:47 PM Reporting back on this question – I have now met personally with the director of the Woody Guthrie Center inTulsa, and had email interchanges with David Dunaway, Seeger's biographer. No one seems to be able to identify specific recordings of any Seeger/Woody duets. The conclusion is that their lives never intersected enough after World War II so that they would record together. And then Woody began to deteriorate in the early 1950s.
