I sent an email to Tanya wondering how the flooding had effected them. Her response:
"Thanks Kim. Tell Kent hi and we miraculously are OK!
Thanks for checking in...we are OK...with minimal damage to banjos. Mostly core veneers for making rims and resonators, and cases were damaged, and metal parts in boxes on the floors were covered in mud, in addition to the entire shop. Two floods came in, one on Thursday and then Friday again, and covered the shop with about 4 inches of water each time which when receded left a fine, stinky mess. So lots of cleaning...
We will start shipping again next week and it will be a few weeks we hope before we are back to normal. Still planning on going to IBMA
next week and then Dad is headed to Winfield, KS today.
The mountain areas are very bad, and so are low lying plains. Boulder itself has mostly damaged basements and yards, some streets washed out. Check out the photos at Denver Post."
