In general, the banjo is original, except for addition of Five-Star banjo tuners and a 5th string capo.
I acquired this banjo by mail in 1962, after returning the more basic flat-top Model 20. It has traveled with me on many trips, including a two-year stint while teaching in Tanzania. Hard shell case is included; repairs to extensive damage by airline travel have been made, but it is not attractive after more than fifty years.
