Hi all, New member to the group. I have a 79 Ode D. A beautiful banjo with the gold in great shape. I bought it a few years ago relatively cheaply due to a messed up neck. I was able to buy a new old stock neck for a 79 D from Todd Taylor, a BHO member, so now it's almost mint. Love the banjo except for the tailpiece, which although great looking on the banjo, it is the most difficult tailpiece I've ever dealt with when it come to changing strings. I've tried to put on other tailpieces, but hole in the flange is too close to the rim for the bolts for the ones I have on hand. Does anyone have a tailpiece to recommend?
