MERRIT's STORE: 1009 S. Columbia St., Chapel Hill. There's always a small jam on Fridays & Saturdays. Participants are invited by fiddler & guitarist Bob Herring. Music runs from noon until 2:00 PM. This tiny Chapel Hill historic landmark is famous for its BLT sandwiches, but other lunch food there is equally good.
