I'm working on the 1st Beginners DVD. I can keep up with Murphy (not FMB) on the slow versions. Woo hoo! When she plays the faster versions, though, she has more of a bluegrass cadence rather than just 1-2-3-4. I decided to try and imitate the cadence only slow. Is this a good idea or should I just stick with the 1-2-3-4 and slowly speed that up?

	caseyhenry says: 3/9/2015 6:08:50 AM Don't try and do the timing like she does it. It is a more advanced skill that, as a beginner, you're not ready for yet. Keep it straight. You'll be able to do it later with no problem, but you need many months of playing under your belt first!
