I don't know how to post a pic to this page but there are some pics of a couple of my mtn banjos on my BHO photo page.
I had my first one about 35 years ago which was built by Gordon Paris of Hayesville, N.C. They're such wonderful instruments with a long history in the southern mountains and I've had the opportunity to play quite a few older ones including a couple built by Frank Proffit. I love building and playing these banjos.
