Morgan Monroe gets some bad press even though they are the prettiest banjos on the market. Wonder if a petition to the American headquarters would convince them to build a more "upgrade" instrument i.e. same beautiful MGB-1 but with a Kulesh or JLS tone ring and longer skirt like Gold Tone does or even a Jimmy Cox rim? Just a thought .

	Vapor says: 8/28/2012 9:33:17 PM They are a very good banjo. For most people they are great. I love my Cascade. I made my own improvements to my liking. Under $200 and I have it exactly as I want in sound. I prefer to make it my own, my way.
	randytelecaster says: 8/29/2012 5:26:10 AM That's fine. I'm just saying if you look at some of the vendor's that sell MM they are carrying less of the line. I think it is time to inject some life into the product. Gold Tone offers some of these upgrade features. Also, MM should suppl banjos already set-up like GT. Mine didn't even have the bridge set-up .
	torpedo says: 8/29/2012 9:17:10 AM Randy, I have an MGB-2 and had changes made to my liking. A Pro. set-up is not that expensive along with a few other odds and ends. If MM "upgraded" their banjos the cost would certainly reflect those upgrades. Joe
	randytelecaster says: 8/29/2012 9:37:49 AM They would but remember it is an option, not replacing existing models and price points . Think about it . A Jimmy Cox rim is about a $250.00 part . Would be a nice upgrade in a banjo if offered.
