Hi Friends,

I hope you all have had good summers and lots of music. We just finished up our annual Stephen Foster Old-Time Music Weekend and it was a dandy.

I realize it is a long way off, but here is our first announcement regarding the Suwannee Banjo Camp. I realize we are far away, but if you are considering a banjo camp, ours is a good one. The weather is ususally pretty good by March. Would love to see you!

Now that summer's nearly gone, it's time to turn our attention to . . . yes, the end of next winter! Suwannee Banjo Camp has just launched its new Website, and we're up and running for the 2012 season. Once again we're running four levels in old-time and bluegrass banjo, a complete old-time fiddle program, and introductory classes in minstrel banjo, classic banjo, and the west-African banjo ancestor known as ekonting.

Dates: March 16-18, 2012

Optional Extra Day: March 15-16
Location: O' Leno State Park, High Springs, Florida

Old Time Banjo Staff: Greg C. Adams, Cathy Barton Para, Mac Benford, Paul Brown, Mark Johnson, Brad Leftwich, Chuck Levy, & Ken Perlman

Bluegrass Banjo Staff: Scott Anderson, Janet Davis, James McKinney, Alan Munde, & Tony Trischka Camp Fiddler: Erynn Marshall
