It looks like the piece on Daniel Jatta and the akonting will be on All Things Considered today. Right now, it’s scheduled in the segment that runs at 5:50pm eastern time, though that’s subject to change. The story will run again at 7:50 and 9:50pm in feeds for the Midwest and West Coast. Greg Adams is also in the story I am told. You’ll also be able to read and listen to the story on our website, www.npr.org. My part was edited out, but I am told that a snippet of my banjo playing remains.
