Nice....I have this same case. It came with a longneck Harmony I bought on ebay about 5 years ago for $150. Then I sold the banjo by itself for $125 and kept the case, which appeared to been seldom used.

Long Neck and Lifton Case Lovers,
Check out my comments from a few days ago in long neck section about How Fortunate Can I Get. You will see that I bought that case from Bernunzio several days ago. It is already here with an oversize pot area that fits a long neck with resonator. Also notice the tear in the case along the top. I need to repair it, the wood has come undone. Haven't had time to look into it. I went to Bernunzio's site looking for individual strings. He had a special sale on "basement items" or some such. When I saw the case I couldn't log into PayPal fast enough. Fortunate, indeed!

Your past experience with strings at Bernunzio's is exactly what led me there. I checked my records. I bought the case online from Bernunzios on 9/11/14 and it arrived on 9/17/14. I paid 185.00 including shipping and you can see the split in the photo you posted. It is right where the top meets the flange with the latch tops. Just ahead of the main latch. Someone had tried to disguise and fill it. BTW, I didn't get any strings and now you have me thinking about harp strings. Finally got banjo count and case count equal.
