RB 175 arch top or flat top?

I never hear any body mention the fact that Gibson made two different versions of the RB175. They were identical except for the diameter of the brass tone ring that sat on top of the rim. The smaller 10" diameter ring made one an arch top while the 11" diameter ring made the other a flat top. Was one of these styles more common than the other? Does the difference effect their resale value?

	john bange says: 7/28/2014 9:54:32 PM don't think I have ever seen an arch top RB175. I've seen an RB180 with a mastertone tone ring, al least, I think it was called that. As I have an Rb175, I do hope someone chimes in on this. It's the first time I've heard anything about one.
	LJ says: 7/28/2014 10:09:58 PM I have had two of the arch top style RB 175's. The second one I just purchased on ebay last week. I have seen lots of the flat tops over the years but I've never heard anybody mention the arch tops.
