I build the finest banjos. My newest tubaphone with brass Vega style brass band. My current banjo has 28 brackets with the brass band. To my knowledge there is not banjo, even Vega that has all brass parts. This includes the banjo's hooks. Go to my www site and check it out:

	herrcespedes says: 3/23/2014 2:57:10 PM I came within 1/64 inch tolerance (lol) of buying one of Beyer banjos.. until I saw the discussion here, but checking his page again I see he has been strongly recommended by Keith Potger of the Seekers. Now I have the greatest admiration for the seekers and wonder, with his reported craftsmanship, how could this have happened.. perhaps he got good all of a sudden, or who knows. Any ideas?

I feel compassion for Mr. Beyer as I believe he thinks he knows what he is doing. Please buy from a knowledgeable builder who consistently does good work and understands banjos.
