ODE found for you??

From pastorharry on 9/20/2013 5:42:28 PM

I was searching the internet for banjos, as I am wont to do on occasion, and found this gem, at a gem of a price. Since I no longer play long necks, although sorely tempted, I must pass, so I pass the ball to your court!

Wow! Wish I had the cash on hand. This banjo is a kissing cousin to my original ODE. It looks to be in very good condition, save that it appears to be missing the slider on the 5th string capo - capo won't work without the slider. I'm not sure how many ODEs hand a rosewood peghead cap, but I believe they are somewhat rare.

Glad for you, I was this close, even though I don't need it,it looks like a special one. Just remove that old sliding capo and install a new one, or some spikes. Happy Frails!!

I am hearbroken...the dealer just emailed me and told me the owner backed out of the sale and my money was refunded. No model 33 Ode for me but I'll keep looking. In truth, I thought the price was way too low, anyway.
bummer!

bummer!!! The Podium can be kinda shaky, I bought an old Martin 12 string that I had to return....too many undisclosed issues. Back to the drawing board.
