Is there ANYONE out there that owns a Fender Allegro long neck? I was asleep and missed the one that just sold on ebay for $500.00. What an absolute steal! It has to be rare, that's why I ask if anyone else owns one. I don't need to buy it, I'm just interested in its rarity. Paul

	farmer bob says: 8/15/2013 12:10:33 PM I ordered a Fender Allegro longneck back in 1972. I think I payed under $200. They had problems at the company, labor disputes or something and the banjo never got shipped. I got my money back. Never looked at a Fender since.... Bob
	mikehalloran says: 12/19/2013 7:10:03 PM Paul, I just saw this. I owned an Allegro long neck and liked it a lot. I only sold it after I got my Muse and PS-5. I hated the placement of the handle on the case - it hurt my hand to carry the case. I thought that three long necks was redundant and sold the Allegro in 1995. I'm in the middle of re-mastering the only album I ever made with it and wonder why I ever sold it. The neck is much nicer than any RB-175 or similar banjo I've played. If I could still play, I'd be on the lookout to buy another. If interested in a sound clip, let me know. Mike
