Hi all, another sunny day in the south of the UK.

Can anybody recommend or advise, where I could find a list of tunings for Long Neck Banjos.

My baby is just crying out to be played in 'Sawmill', but I seem to be suffering from a bit of brain fog.

Any help will really be appreciated.

	Lew H says: 8/9/2013 2:39:20 PM I didn't know there were special tunings for long necks. I thought we just used all those other tunings, but with the capo dropped down a fret or two or off the banjo altogether. Am I missing something?

	Lew H says: 8/10/2013 4:44:21 AM I have trouble thinking about what the notes are too. I think they are eBEAB for open sawmill. I tune with the capo at the 3rd fret("standard"), drop the 5th string 3 frets, re-tune the melody strings, then take off the capo. That way, I don't have to convert the notes for each string in my head. TO post on the hangout, you have to upload your video file to some other website then link it from here. On banjohangout in the upper right corner, if you are signed in, there are labels under "Add COntent." Click on "video" and there's a slot for copying the URL where your video file is. Hope this is helpful, Will.
