I got an email from Banjo Hangout with this title "What will us longneckers be working on in the new year? ;)"

I don't know how this email came about but I thought that might actually be a fun question for us longneckers to answer in this group. My plans:

1. Attending the Suwannee Banjo Camp in March

2. Attending a weekly "Americana" jam that I started here in Woodstock, GA

3. Attending a weekly Country and Bluegrass jam

4. Attending various local Bluegrass jams

5. Attending a local "Jamgrass" jam that includes many genres of music

	Claude Grassley says: 1/13/2023 12:22:13 PM That was a great question, Tony. I hope others will answer. Actually, I'm a transplant as well. I was born & raised in Wisconsin. Lived many other places since I left there over 50 years ago!

	phdm says: 1/13/2023 1:06:00 PM For the past two years, I have been sending out a weekly recording of a song to interested parties on a small email list I maintain. I just sent out Week #100. I started this project in the dark days of the Covid pandemic, and just kept on going. Ironically, I myself just came down with Covid, but I’m on the mend. Most of my recordings are done with my Vega Seeger model long neck. And as I age, and my voice lowers, those extra three frets are becoming my close personal friends in lowering the pitch of several songs I used to sing in a higher key. This project keeps me practicing when our band could not get together to rehearse.

	tucsonsean says: 1/14/2023 7:19:14 AM After being “side-tracked” for the better part of 40 years into old-time/roots/traditional music, I intend to use my ‘65 Christy long-neck to get back to my “great folk scare” roots (that originally popularized the long-neck).
