Just got a new Gold Tone Long Neck Wythe Ladie. The 3rd and 4th strings buzz when fretted on the first 3 frets, but are fine played open. Lower frets seem fine. No Zero Glide on this banjo. Before I start messing with the coordinator rods to adjust string height, thought I would ask if this is the best place to start or if long necks are susceptible to buzz and the overall angle of the neck needs changed with the truss rod first.

	John Gribble says: 8/29/2018 1:27:50 AM The first two things I would check are the head tension and the neck truss rod. I suspect there is a little back-bow in the neck and if you were to turn the truss rod nut counter-clockwise a little, the buzzing would disappear.
