Pete Seeger Vega History

From dgrayman on 4/1/2017 3:57:49 PM

Does anyone know the years that Vega went from a dowel stick to twin metal coordinating rods? Also, when did they switch from 28 to 24 brackets? I have a '60 that is 28/dowel and a '64 that is 24/metal rods. Really happy to be in this group!! :)

John, I'm curious. How does your Martin-made Vega compare with the Deering-made Vega?

the neck width at the nut 1 1/4Deering and 1 3/16 was the only adjustment...little brighter than the Deering but that's the Vegalon head which I had planned to change...still might but I'm growing used to it.
