Just came across this on ebay,  never heard of Grafton before.  Anybody know anything about it?

Not meaning to be snide, the case is worth more than the banjo.

kinda agree with Boulderfolkie...I might go for the Bacon Belmont here in the classifieds rather than the Grafton...have money left over for a case...no truss rod but, then I use nylon strings, so what do I know?

Actually, I have to respectfully disagree with the above opinions. The seller appears knowledgeable and the materials fairly good quality, mostly appropriate to this style of instrument (I'd probably change the tailpiece).

If he could be talked down a hundred bucks it would probably be a pretty good deal.

I agree with both Johns - $100 off and you still can't go wrong....

yea...$100 or so less and it starts to look better. I never had a problem with Asian banjos other than the hardware thread tolerance and the heads always in need of tightening.

Well, it keeps getting re-listed at the same price. Maybe if it comes down a bit I'll bite. I don't know why I feel the need to own more banjos than I can play at once...
