Had a Sportster till I wrecked it on the interstate-not my fault and really busted up my left arm-1 1/2 yrs of physical therapy before released from Dr's care so I could settle up the insurance claim. Wasn't sure if I would ever play banjo or guitar again, but playing was the best physical therapy I could have had. That was 7 years ago, and that experience made me appreciate how important making music with my friends was (had to insert a Willie quote!). I'd get another Harley in a sec (if you don't ride, you won't understand..) but my wife said, with NC community property laws being what they are, I can't afford a new Harley. Dang,...that woman's right again.
