Hi all. I am just getting back from 12 hour round trip to see Arthur and pick up my new Celebrity #59! It was a beautiful day for a road trip from NW Ohio to SW Kentucky. My 11 year old daughter made the trip with me and she loved every minute of it. Meeting Arthur was an experience i won't soon forget. I didn't get the popcorn, RC Cola, possum and dumplings, etc that you all speak of, but i guess another time. lol By the way, anyone want to expand on these things? I am out of the loop on the story behind the food. Anyways, Arthur took the time to show me everything about the banjo and the building process. He waited till i showed up and then installed the spikes to my liking. As i am only a 2 year old rookie, i relied on his experience on the setup. He used his bridge with crowe spacing which i had never tried before. What little i have played on it so far, i really like the height and spacing. The highlight of the trip for me was getting to play the Bill Emerson Fender Artist that Arthur acquired from Steve Huber. What a treat to get to pick on it some and hear Arthur play it too. A trip i won't soon forget.
