Just returned to N. Texas after picking up my Stonycreek at Arthur's shop. Wow! .... an impeccably made banjo. Crystal clarity and balance in low, mid, and upper registers. Intonation is perfect (thanks to Arthur's handmade compensated bridge). I cannot say enough good things about the Stonycreek, and Arthur himself. After 40 years of playing & performing with many different brands of banjos, this Hatfield just became my primary instrument. If you own one, you know what I'm talking about. If you have a Hatfield on order, you made a great choice! Thanks Arthur!
