Just cant help myself....25 days till my trip to Arthur and Bevs place... Remember how you were as a kid when the Sears Chistmas catalog came out a month or so before Christmas?..... Glad to know at 56 years old theres still things that can make you feel like that.. :)

Because if your experience is anything like mine, the following will happen: 1) What you hoped for will pale in comparison to what you actually see (these banjos are far more beautiful than we expect 'em to be); 2) You'll be better fed than you were on Christmas Day (Bev is not a fancy cook, but she's an exceptionally honest one, and as an ex-chef I can tell you that's a lot harder to do. She makes the most exquisite biscuits, just in case you're thinking about such things). And most importantly... 3) That Hatfield will start out great and get better the more you play with it. I dunno about you, but I NEVER got a Christmas present that did that. Welcome to the Clan! Except for my Hatfield.

	rickshunter1 says: 10/22/2011 9:54:42 AM I bought a Hatfield Buckcreek sight unseen talked to Arthur on the phone told him what sound I was looking for and we decided on a buckcreek and man its everything I ever wanted only thing I regret is not making the trip to see them in person which is on my to do list.
	BillyH says: 10/23/2011 11:19:56 AM Rick, I wouldnt have it any other way than making the trip up there. Not only to play the banjo first but because I love road trips. My fiance is going and she is an Elvis freak!!! so we're going to Memphis and Graceland the first day, then on to Bowling Green to crash for the night. We're getting up early Saturday morning to go get the banjo. I look so forward to being at Arthurs home and shop with him and Ms. Bev. And as a bonus, Im going to get to hear Arthurs band play that afternoon where He and his band entertain for folks at a nursing home. Just another generous thing Arthur is all about. He's even going to pick my banjo some there so I can here it in a band situation. How's that for service. After we leave there we're going to spend Saturday night and most of the day Sunday in Nashville before heading home...I Cant Wait!!!!
