Well after all of my research I did decide on a Hatfield banjo. My new Buck Creek arrived today and it sounds great already! I'm playing at a rest home tonight and my wife is going out of town all weekend. It looks like I'll be spending many hours breaking in my new banjo this weekend. I wanted to thank everyone for their recommendations and sharing their stories about their Hatfield banjos. A special thanks to Daniel for going out of his way to let me play his Aurora! This has been a great buying experience. Even though I didn't get to make the trip to Kentucky, I hope that I will be able to visit the Hatfields in the future. Now it's time to reap my rewards!
