I've been playing a Goodtime 2 for a few years now. It's my 1st banjo and I think it's an outstanding beginners banjo. If I'd waited a while I would have gone with a special, but it's not a big issue. Even when I get a higher end banjo, (which my pocket says is a few years off still) I'll still love this instrument and use it for most of my out of the house stuff just because it's light and easy to carry around. Has a great sound and very good action for the price range!
