I like the light weight of my GT, but think I need a strap. Anybody find a strap that works really well with the GT?

	KnarfEK says: 2/2/2011 11:37:50 AM I like the $30 Planet Waves Embossed Leather Banjo Strap I got from Guitar Center as it's a light and soft leather cradle strap with a nice embossed pattern. However the cradle straps themselves were too thick to fit through the Goodtime hooks so I had to separate the stitched together inner leather from the outer leather and just use the outer for the cradle. Too much work unless you have lots of free time as I do.
	Oalbrets says: 2/3/2011 4:11:39 AM I called Deering and found out that they make a cradle strap for the Goodtime banjo. I purchased one and I am very happy with it.
	xomcat says: 2/10/2011 6:14:25 AM I bought a decent 2 1/2" leather strap for $20. on ebay, removed the "leash snaps" and used a 76", rawhide boot lace to make a cradle strap. It threaded nicely, doubled, between the shoes and the tone ring .
