I've had my banjo a few days now and I'm lovin it. I don't know who's owned 75 1208 49 but she sounds like a million bucks and plays like butter. I'm loving this thing. If anybody knows any history on this banjo or where I could look to find anything, I'd love to learn more, about it.. Happy pickn yall

	Pickin furry paws says: 5/30/2015 3:46:55 PM Well, judging by the serial number, it was made December 2008...49 means the 49th banjo that month, or the 49th BJ that month (which I doubt)...so most likely, assembled and inspected in the latter days of December '08. The ring is a Sullivan contract, cut down and short skirted like most contract rings Gibson had between Sullivan and its other suppliers. The necks on most BJs were hand finished and sanded, so each has a custom V slightly different from banjo to banjo. The rim is a Cooperman, rare possible Cox from the year. Any photos?
