I purchased an excellent condition 1925 Tb-3 a few months ago and hope to eventually do a conversion to five string.I am wondering if the conversion will require a different flange plate, since the five string neck would be be too wide for the tenor neck gap. I will not be doing the work myself but I would like to have an idea of what I will up, against so to speak. Thanks for any advice.
