I know this is a shot in the dark but does anyone have a "spare" '26 rim?
I recently took possession of the '26 pot I built last year for Kurt Kemp. Kurt had all the metal parts from a '26 but needed a rim and so we partnered. The rim I made for him was a hybrid maple/walnut. I played it last night for the first time in public (my jam) and I gotta say that I love the sound of this banjo. Acoustically, it is right on. But as a practical matter, I'd like to locate a '26 rim if possible. If anyone has a lead on one, please contact me. Thanks, Dick/
